Things you need to do in autumn

  1. With beer gardens and barbecues becoming a distant memory, autumn heralds the time to bid your bikini goodbye and pack away your summer clothes for another year. The best way to store them is clean and dry in a vacuum pack: it minimises the space they take up and ensures they won’t be nibbled by a passing peckish moth! While you’re tidying out your wardrobe, clean and disinfect all surfaces to ensure it’s clean for the coming months.
  2. As you bid garden furniture farewell, ensure everything’s free from mud and garden chemicals and disinfect and cover your barbecue. Store everything in a safe, dry place so it won’t rust over the long winter months.
  3. Clean and disinfect kids’ outdoor playthings like toys, trampolines, mini-cars, etc and store them away until next year.
  4. Now you’re cranking up the central heating, ensure vents are clean and unobstructed, filters are replaced and fireplaces are properly maintained. Bleed radiators well and give them a wipe with Zoflora – then enjoy the fantastic fragrance radiating through the room when they’re warm!
  5. With all the tramping around in mud, mulch and other autumnal offerings, wellies have a tendency to become rather smelly. Disinfect the outside of them to kill germs and spray diluted Zoflora on the inside to keep them fresh and odour-free.
  6. Finally, if your pot-pourri has dried out over the hot months, a few drops of your favourite Zoflora scent will revive it and keep your room smelling sweet for the rest of the season!
