Cleaning Pet Stains and Odours with Zoflora

These days, pets are well and truly part of our families, and are a much-loved part of family life. However, having pets can contribute to additional mess and dirt and at times, may leave your home with a less than fresh odour, especially if the weather is wet (wet dog smell is one of the worst!). As a pet owner, keeping your home clean and fresh may not always be easy, but Zoflora products can help with common problems and become an essential part of your home hygiene routine.

How to clean up and eliminate odours after a pet accident (carpets)

From time to time most pets have the occasional accident, however Zoflora can help by removing any lingering odours from pet accidents or vomit. After clearing away the mess, and using a carpet cleaner on the affected area, wipe the area with your selected Zoflora fragrance diluted with water to eliminate the odour. Test for colour fastness on an inconspicuous area of carpet before using any cleaning products.

How to clean up and eliminate odours after a pet accident (hard floors)

Use 6 capfuls of your selected Zoflora fragrance diluted in 1/3 of a bucket of hot water to mop floors. This will not only kill any germs in the area, but also fill your home with a long lasting, beautifully fragrant aroma, whilst also eliminating pet odours.

Cleaning pet beds and cages

Using a cloth soaked in diluted Zoflora, wipe down the inside and outside of your pet bed or cage. Use a toothbrush can help remove any hidden bacteria from hard to reach areas. Place any soft bedding into a washing machine and add 2 caps of Zoflora to the rinse cycle to get rid of odours and add a fragrant freshness.

Important note: When correctly diluted, Zoflora disinfectant may be used where most pets are kept. Do not allow pets to lick or walk on wet, treated surfaces. Keep off until dry. Not suitable for use in vivaria or other housing where reptiles are kept.
