UK Summer Events 2016
With the weather warming up and the summer holidays just around the corner, now is the best time to start planning great days out for all the family this summer. So if you are looking for great summer events, then look no further. Here are three great events that are taking place across the UK this summer.
The Great Yorkshire Show 2016
Held at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, The Great Yorkshire Show features the best of British farming. The annual event is coming back this July for its 158th show, dates for the event are the 12th - 14th of July. There will be lots to see and do at the event from exciting ring displays, stalls, cookery demonstrations and a variety of activities to keep children entertained in the Discovery Zone.
The Discovery Zone is aimed at children aged 3 to 18 and provides countless opportunities for kids to get involved including York’s Chocolate Story, Falconry displays and RHS Harlow Carr Garden Explorers. The main ring attraction for 2016 is Bolddog Lings Motorcycle Display Team who will be putting on an impressive display.

Festival No.6 is one of the most unique festivals in the UK, family-friendly No.6 is held on the 1st -4th September at the stunning Portmeirion, the iconic filming location for the TV show The Prisoner. No.6 is a place where you and your family can lose yourself in your own fairytale. A variety of accommodation is available from rooms in the castle or cottages to a boutique tipi, or your own tent.
There will lots to experience over the four days, including live music and comedy, carnival No.6, a torchlight parade, a Prisoner reconstruction and much more. Just So Festival 2016
The Just So Festival is an annual weekend-long camping festival for children and their families held at Rode Hall Parkland in Cheshire. The festival offers a magical experience where art, music and literature are enjoyed in a truly wonderful location. There will be a broad range of musical, theatrical, and visual performances, workshops and installations.
