Get rid of pet accident odours on hard floors

Cats and dogs contribute to a build up of bacteria on flooring. Unfortunately, pets can bring E Coli, Rotavirus, Campylobacter and Salmonella into the home. Luckily there is a simple solution.

1. Disinfect floors

Pets do move around the home so ensure you disinfect areas they walk on at least once a week.

2. Mop floors

Use 4 caps of your favourite Zoflora fragrance diluted in half a bucket of hot water to mop floors. This will not only disinfect the area but also leave a fragrant aroma around the home, getting rid of any pet smells.

3. Don't allow pets on wet surfaces

Don't allow pets to walk on or lick wet or treated surfaces until the area is dry.

While Zoflora does go cloudy in water, this is down to the fragrances being insoluble in water and is not due to the product containing phenol. As a result, Zoflora disinfectant is safe to use around most pets when used correctly. Zoflora is not suitable for use around reptiles or fish.
