Cleaning pet accidents from your carpets

Life wouldn't be the same without our furry family members, but every pet owner knows that accidents can, and most probably will, happen. When they do, here's how to use Zoflora to eliminate odours from carpets and rugs.

Pop on some disposable gloves

These provide a hygienic barrier and allow you to get stuck into the problem without getting your hands dirty. Use them to remove the majority of the mess from the carpet area.

Use a carpet cleaner

If the accident has caused heavy soiling, or is likely to stain, use a dedicated carpet cleaner to help remove this from the carpet before treating with Zoflora. Always follow the manufacturer's usage instructions.

Wipe the area with diluted Zoflora

If you've checked for colour fastness in an inconspicuous area, you can wipe over the area with a damp cloth that has been soaked in diluted Zoflora. This will neutralise the odour while adding a fresh, long-lasting fragrance.

Get rid of the mess!

Always make sure to remove and dispose of animal dirt or mess, bagged-up safely in an outside bin.

Always use Zoflora safely

Do not use on polished wood.

Allow a contact time of 5 minutes.

Do not mix with other cleaning products.

Dilute 1 part Zoflora to 40 parts water.
E.g. 1 capful of Zoflora (10ml) added to 400ml of water.

Do not spray directly onto or near to open flames or electronic devices.

Make sure to exclude pets from the area until surfaces are completely dry.

Always check the manufacturer's guidelines before using Zoflora on your bin.

Remember that Zoflora maintains its germ-killing power for 2 weeks once diluted.
