Does Zoflora conform to UK EN testing standards for disinfectants?

Zoflora has been tested independently to adhere to the following EN standards required for chemical antiseptics and disinfectants. Individual dilution quantities and contact rates apply for specific bacteria and viruses.

For the evaluation of bactericidal activity against Legionella pneumophila of chemical disinfectants for aqueous systems.

Does Zoflora kill Coronavirus?

We are unable to test Zoflora on COVID-19 coronavirus until the strain is released by health authorities.

We do know that the COVID-19 virus has an ‘envelope’ or ‘sleeve’ around each virus, suggesting it will be sensitive to disinfectants. 

So, although we don’t have data on this specific virus, we know that Zoflora kills 99.9%  of the closely related ‘enveloped’ viruses Vaccinia virus VR‐1549 Elstree strain and Murine coronavirus (A59) (P6) so we would expect it to be effective against Covid-19.
