The Zoflora & Caudwell Children Story

Zoflora are happy to officially announce we will be partnering with UK charity, Caudwell Children.

Caudwell Children provide practical and emotional support for disabled children and their families across the UK. This year Caudwell Children are set to open the ‘Caudwell International Children’s Centre,’ which promises to be the UK’s first facility of its type and one of only a handful of specialist centres across the globe that combines support, therapy and research, specialising in helping those affected by Autism.

Autism Spectrum Disorder is one of the world’s most prevalent neurodevelopmental conditions, affecting as many as 1 in 68 children globally, and costing the UK taxpayer an estimated £32 billion a year.

As part of the partnership, Zoflora’s has enlisted the help of award winning Landscape Architects Adam White and Andrée Davies, of Davies White Ltd, who will be creating an engaging, sensory outdoor space for the Caudwell International Children’s Centre.

The garden will be officially revealed at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show from 4th – 9th July 2017 before being re-imagined at the Centre.

The garden uses a woodland setting as the theme and aims to show how an accessible and inclusive wild garden can reconnect children of all abilities with nature.

Fragrance will, of course, be a key element of the garden and so an assortment of unique smelling pots will be installed in the garden. These will allow garden visitors to experience the vibrant and beautiful elements of Zoflora’s expertly crafted fragrances.
